Wireless Connectivity – intelligent platforms for specific requirements
Connectivity is one of the major keywords of our societal progression. The evolution in this technical field is so that there are some areas like mobile communication or computer technology that can not be imagined without connectivity functions. The vehicle, nevertheless, is one of the few spheres that are still excluded from this connected world. However, especially inside a vehicle numerous services would be feasible and reasonable.
Up to now, there is no competitive solution on the market to realize a business model for connectivity that could achieve sustained success. We have developed a new attempt to solve the following basic problems with a Network Access Device (NAD):
- Is it possible to provide a cost-efficient solution for different services which demand for a data exchange like e.g. communication, safety and security or remote diagnostics?
- Is it possible to attend upon the customer specific requirements with one intelligent platform?
- Is it possible to offer one adaptable platform to settle the claim to provide future cars with an e-call service?
As a result of a cross-divisional collaboration we provide the car manufacturer with a cost-efficient and flexible connectivity solution.
